Welcome to
Ms. Gallehugh's
10R Moodle Site!
To find Moodle:
Go to the district website. Then, go to the bottom of the drop down menu and click on “Technology Resources”. Click on “Moodle”.
If the district site is not working, simply google “Lynbrook Moodle”; it will be the first item in your search.
To log into Moodle:
Students:
Username - Use the same one you use to access computers in school.
Password - initials and the last four digits of your student id number. If you don't know your ID number you can ask your teacher or look at your schedule.
Guests who have been given the enrollment key can enter Moodle butare unable to view student work.
Here is a list of icons that you will find on Moodle:
Forums
Here you will be able to engage in online discussions with your classmates as well as students in my other tenth grade classes. When you post to a forum, your work is visible to other students.
Assignments
Here you will submit typed work. Note that you can submit more than one draft to this site. When you submit your work here, it will not be visible to other students.
Journals
Here you will be writing shorter assignments and/or taking longer quizzes. I strongly urge you to write and save your work in a Word document first before submitting to the journal feature. When you submit work here, it will not be visible to other students.
orResources
Here you will find links to the Internet that I have posted to help you with your coursework.
Word Documents
Here you will find Word documents that feature either class notes or directions that I have posted to Moodle to help you with your coursework.
Literary Term Glossary
Here you will find an alphabetized glossary. Some will feature terms; others will feature different topics related to a unit of study.
- Workshop
Here you will peer edit each other’s work and find useful rubrics to help you self-evaluate your work. Your work will be kept anonymous when we use this feature.
“Upcoming Events” and the “Calendar” can be located on the right-hand side of Moodle. Use these features to keep up with important due dates.
