If you need a lawyer, you can connect with our Lawyer Referral and Information Service and request a referral at any time online at There is no walk-in service and there are no attorneys on site at the SDCBA’s offices. Referrals to attorneys and initial consultations are free of charge, but if you retain an attorney through our referral service, you will be responsible for paying the attorney’s fees.

If you have a fee arbitration matter, you may find information online at There is no walk-in service available, and you cannot complete paperwork or make copies at the SDCBA offices. All completed paperwork can be dropped off in the dropbox on the garage level lobby of the SDCBA Bar Center.
All paperwork must be competed and cashier's check or money order must be received in order to open a case. Arbitration packets are available online at
