The Kremlin of Kolomna Foundation

The aim of creating the Fund is charity work, focused on supporting culture, recreation and restoration of historical memorials based at the Kremlin fortifications area, cultural and historical heritage preservation and propaganda, supporting projects promoting revival and development of cultural and historical values.

The Foundation’s activities are aimed to unite and co-ordinate interested physical and juridical persons’ efforts in preservation and augmenting of Kolomna region historical values, as well as attraction attention to the culture revival problems.

The Kremlin of Kolomna Foundation is supposed to cooperate with Russian and international charitable foundations and organizations.

The Foundation is financed by business activities, voluntary donations, and business donations for charity needs, allocated according to Moscow Region preferential tax law.

For the Foundation work realization the Board of Trustees was set up. It consists of well-known culture, education and mass media workers and businessmen of Kolomna.

Projects to realize by the Foundation

1.  “Grateful descendants to Dmitry Donskoj”. Collecting means for setting up a memorial to Dmitry Donskoj by the Kremlin wall.

2.  “Seven Towers”. Restoration of the remaining Kremlin walls and towers, setting up a museum and various tourist objects.

3.  “Our Heritage”. Equipping The Kremlin area with modern amenities and services.

4.  “The House at The Blyudechko”. Building and founding a photography museum in a deserted modern residence.

5.  “Music by the Ancient Walls”. Creating a concert area by Marinkina Tower of The Kremlin for holding municipal, regional and all-Russian festivals and holidays, etc.

6.  “My Kremlin”. Social advertising of The Kremlin. Creation and spreading outside advertising, as well as using other mass media to introduce the idea of The Kremlin of Kolomna revival, improving and preservation.

7.  “A word about Kolomna”. Publishing program “The Kremlin of Kolomna”. Producing printing production such as books, postcards, etc. “The Kremlin of Kolomna” newspaper edition.

8.  “The Revival of Traditions”. Improving and equipping the “Blyudechko” area, the ancient centre of culture, for folk outdoor parties, fairs, games and amusements.

9.  “The Smith Quarter”. Setting up a Museum of Forged articles at the former Kolomna quarter.

10.  “Forced things”. Setting up a Museum of unique household articles, invented by Kolomna dwellers, and gathred by a world-wide known collector V. Arhipov.

11.  “The Art-Kremlin”. Charity auctions of works and objects produced by artists and craftsmen of Kolomna.

12.  Founding an Art Gallery of the famous painter of Kolomna, Honoured Russian artist M.Abakumov
