Chapter 6 Summary
After two days they reached London. London is a very busy city with a lot of people. Widge notices a terrible smell that is everywhere in London which makes him feel sick. Falconer tells him the smell is the sewer. The buildings are large and tall which is unlike anything Widge has seen before. London has a nine o’clock curfew so Falconer and Widge decide on a meeting spot if they become separated.
1. Where are Falconer and Widge staying?
Falconer reminds Widge to say yes instead of ‘aye’ so that he does not stand out to the people of London. Two men playing dice begin to argue and set a time for a duel. When it was time to go to sleep, Falconer went up to his room and Widge goes to sleep in the stables on hay.
2. How does the sleeping arrangement make Widge feel?
The play that Widge needs to copy is not played until Tuesday so Widge begins to worry that he will not be able to write fast enough. On the way to the Globe Theater, Widge notices that London is dirty. Women threw garbage in the streets where children are playing and there is a plague house. To get to the theater, they must take a boat. Widge cannot stand the smell anymore and gets sick on the boat. As he leans over to be sick, he tilts the entire boat and falls into the water.

Capítulo 6 Resumen
Después de dos días llegaron a Londres. Londres es una ciudad muy ocupado con un montón de gente. Widge nota un olor terrible que está en todas partes en Londres, que le hace sentirse enfermo. Falconer le dice que el olfato es el alcantarillado. Los edificios son grandes y altos , que es diferente a todo lo Widge ha visto antes. Londres tiene un toque de queda de las nueve en punto para Falconer y Widge deciden en un punto de encuentro si se separan .

Falconer recuerda Widge decir sí en lugar de " sí " para que no se destaca al pueblo de Londres. Dos hombres jugando a los dados empiezan a discutir y establecer un tiempo para un duelo . Cuando llegó la hora de ir a dormir, Falconer subió a su habitación y Widge va a dormir en los establos en el heno .
2 . ¿De qué manera la disposición para dormir hace Widge siente?
La jugada que Widge necesita copiar no se juega hasta el martes para Widge comienza a preocuparse de que no será capaz de escribir lo suficientemente rápido. En el camino hacia el Teatro Globe, Widge cuenta de que Londres es sucia. Las mujeres tiraron basura en las calles donde los niños están jugando y hay una casa de la peste . Para llegar al teatro , deben tomar un barco. Widge no puede soportar el olor más y se enferma en el barco. Como él se inclina para estar enfermo, se inclina el barco entero y cae en el agua.
