Dear WHCC Member,
The Weston Hills Women’s Golf Association invites all women golf members to join our association. Whether you are a beginner or seasoned golfer, our purpose is to have fun and promote an interest in golf. During our season, which runs from October through May, both the 18-Hole and 9-Hole Associations schedule organized play and activities. They raise funds during Scramble for the Cure, hold a Halloween event where they decorate carts and wear costumes, hold a Thanksgiving Food Drive, and arrange Toys for Tots which Marines collect and distribute for us. 9-HOLERS
This group of women plays 9 holes each Tuesday morning. They have various formats of play including Scrambles, Play Days, Irish Four Ball, Throw Out Worst Three Holes, Best Ball of Two, Criers and Whiners, Everything But Putts, and Just Four Clubs to name a few. A verifiable 9-hole handicap and validated index of 23 are required for this group.
18-HOLERS
This group of women plays 18 holes each Tuesday morning. In addition to golf they participate in First Tee, and Jr. Golf Association, as well as fund raisers and activities mentioned in the introduction. A validated index of 37.1 or lower is required for this group. Members must have a Weston Hills handicap with at least five 18-hole scores posted to be eligible for major tournaments.
GIRLS, GIGGLES, & GOLF
This is designed to introduce you to and practice the game in a fun and relaxing way. Event format is FUN, FUN, FUN! Every Thursday morning there will be a 30-minute clinic, and then ladies will play a fun 5 holes of golf to practice what they have learned. This group continues throughout the summer. Reservations are required:
