Varsity Softball beat Desert Hot Springs yesterday 7 – 4. Maddie Kern and Dana Thomas each had 2 hits. Hailey Hubbard had 3 hits on the day. Great job ladies!
Juniors and Freshman with sports physicals and interested in playing Powder Puff football, practice will be tomorrow from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Monday, May 16th from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. See Mrs. Perkins for questions.
Prom- Spirit Week: Monday, May 16 – Dress like a lazy bum; Tuesday – 80’s workout day; Wednesday – Sports Jersey Day; Thursday – Western Day; Friday – Prom color wars, support your class! (Seniors wear black, Juniors wear white, Sophomores wear Purple and Freshmen wear yellow.
Big Bear Cleaners will be here every day this week at both lunches for your deal on Prom tuxes. Get yours ordered this week before the price goes up $25.00 next week for rush orders. Remember you get 10% off at Little Greenhouse for your prom flowers with your tux receipt. Easy service to get ready for your rememberable prom night.
Prom is soon get your Promposals done and buy your tickets to Moonlight Masquerade at the Riverside Art Museum with dinner, photo booth, plush charter bus ride and dancing on the rooftop! Photos will be taken there. Busses leave at 5:30. The junior class will provide the school approved and fun masks for our masquerade. Please don’t not go out and buy any masks. There will be another gift at the door. Get ready for a night to remember!!
ASB and Class Elections are coming soon! Please come to D5 and see Mr. Perkins for more information. If you want to be more involved and help out your school then a Class or ASB Office may be perfect for you! So don’t be shy and come by room D-5 for more information.

Students, this announcement is to let you know that the clothes in the lost and found in the cafeteria are clean! Please check in there to get your belongings back. Remember that your parents paid good money for those things. Please take only what belongs to you.
There are two Interact meetings this tonight at Big Bear High School. A Board Meeting will be held at 6:30 pm and a regular Club Meeting at 7 pm in the Media Center. If you can’t make the 7 pm Club Meeting, come to the Board Meeting at 6:30 pm. Meetings are about thirty minutes long, see you tonight.
Attention Junior Girls: Miss Big Bear applications will be available during lunch today and tomorrow in the Media Center.
The Young Believers meet on Thursday in room C-5. Come hungry and leave happy!
If you are interested in playing volleyball next year, new or returning, pick up a spring practice schedule and practice packet from room A-9 by May 12th. Spring practices start Monday, May 16th from 2:30 – 5:30.
Elections are coming up! Monday, May 23rd will be ASB elections, Wednesday, May 25th will be Class of 2018 elections and Thursday, May 26th will be Class of 2019’s elections. So don’t forget to come out and vote!
Remember that you may not order food from outside sources (Dominos, Little Caesars, etc.) See the office with any questions or concerns.
Attention juniors! There are still a few seats left on the College Field Trip bus...get your signed parent permission form to the Counseling Office ASAP! First come, first served!
Attention BBHS! Yearbook is offering a 3-month payment plan. You would have had to pay $25.00 in March, then $25.00 in April and May! The cost is $75.00 if you use the payment plan. Yearbooks will be delivered in June.
Today the cafeteria will be offering “Hot and Spicy Tenders” for lunch.
