Treatment Plans
The Treatment Plan Module is used to review and manage the submissionsand records of consumer plans within the AlphaMCS system. MCO staff will be able to sort, assign and share plans with other Providers as necessary.

Module View
Like most modules within the AlphaMCS system, there is a Base tile which is the main and prominent tile for the module. Meaning that data in surrounding tiles is contingent on the treatment plan record selected in the Base tile:
Base Tab (TOP)
The Base Tab is the initial point to create, review and approve treatment plans. Under this tab you are able to review comments, identify previous plans and share with multile providers.
Base Tile
The Base Tile is where most of the treatment plan interraction is executed. From this module you are able toTake Assignment to review the plan or Assign to another MCO staff member. You will also be able to Approve and attach supporting documentation here:
Assigning a Plan
To assign a treatment plan for another MCO staff to review, choose Assign. Once clicked, the screen to the right will pop up for you to assign to a user to ultimately review and approve the plan:
Base Tile Defined (TOP)
TX. Plan #:the AlphaMCS unique ID for this specific plan.
Version #:displays the current version of the plan for the consumer; first plan = 1, 2nd plan = 2 and so on.
Provider Name:displays the provider who submitted the plan, or provider assigned to fulfill the plan.
Patient Name:displays the consumer’s name the plan is for.
Status:identifies the plans current status.
Saved – plan has not been submitted yet for review
Submitted – plan is ready for review / waiting for review
Created – plan is created but not yet approved, still under review
Approved – plan is fully approved and active
Assigned Staff:identifies the MCO staff who currently owns the plan, or approved the plan.
TX. Plan Type:specifies the treatment plan type (customize in Dropdowns module).
TX. Plan Category:identifies the type of plan, either New or Amendment
TX. plan completed Dt:once course of treatment is completed, the recorded date will display here.
Effective Date:first date the plan will take effect.
Submitted Date:records the date the plan was submitted.
Expedited:either True or False not currently in use
Clinical Home:identifies the provider site, or “Home,” of the consumer.
Status:duplicated from the header, displays current status.
Assigned To:duplicated from the header, displays current owner.
Provider Notified Dt:recorded date the provider was informed of the plan.
Comments:displays any comments about the plan, choose View Plan to view comments in its entirety.
Creating a Treatment Plan (TOP)
For an MCO to create a Treatment Plan to be fulfilled by a provider, choose Create. Once clicked, the below screen will pop up for you to start your plan:
Previous Plans Tile (TOP)
The previous plans tile is used to identify previous plans for the consumer which can render decisions on reviewing and approving current plans. By clicking your 3 view, you will see an Update button. When clicked, that treatment plan will open under the Base tile to make any changes or updates:
Provider Tile (TOP)
The Provider Tile is used to identify or add providers to grant access to this Treatment Plan. When a provider is added, the provider can review the treatment plan by accessing their Provider Portal Treatment Plan module:
Now both Kawasaki and The Avengers have access to the Treatment Plan
Comments Tile (TOP)
The comments tile is used to review recorded comments on for the Treatment Plan. Everytime the plan is saved, submitted or assigned, a new comments record is entered. Since the comments were not changed or updated throughout the approval process then this is why the comments are duplicated. To review lengthy comments in their entirety, choose your 3 view then click View:
Previous Version Tile
Currently not active. Tile reserved for future use.
Patient Tab
The Patient Tab and the tiles within display patient information that relates to or can carry weight on approving or creating a treatment plan. The Base tile is carried over from the Base Tab to easily click between plans to identify different information:
Pending SAR’s (TOP)
The Pending SAR’s tile is used to identify any pending SARs for this consumer to ensure the SAR is approved and Authorization is in place so treatment can start the provider can start billing for the consumer:
Diagnosis Tile
The Diagnosis Tile is used to review the consumer’s recorded diagnoses:
Authorization History
The Authorization History tile is used to identify current andprior authorizations which can assist in addressing the treatment plan:
Demographics Tile (TOP)
The Demographics Tile is used to review and identify basic demographic information about the consumer:
