AMY CONNOR - Red variegated white with Yellow anthers and White filaments. Medium to large, loose peony to rose form double. Average, spreading growth. E-M. (U.S. 2013 - Parker Connor, Edisto Island, SC).

AMY DOODLE - Light Pink center with Cream White edges with Yellow anthers and translucent White filaments. Large, semidouble to loose peony. Average, spreading and open growth. M-L. (U.S. 2013 - Gabriel C. Olsen, Pensacola, FL).

APRIL BLUES - Rose-Red. In cold weather can be Bluish Pink to Purple. Medium, formal double. Vigorous, upright, spreading growth. The plant is very cold hardy. L. (Japonica 'Bernice Body' x Japonica 'Kuro-tsubaki'). (U.S. 2014 - Camellia Forest, Chapel Hill, NC).

BABY SARGENT - Dark Red. Small, full peony. M. (U.S. 1936).

BALUSTRADE - Scarlet Red. Small, single. Very narrow, upright growth. (Seeds from NW South Korea - Barry Yinger, et al - before 1986). (U.S. 2011 - Morris Arboretum, Philadelphia, PA).

BARBARA GRACE - Purple with deep Maroon center shading with Yellow anthers and Yellow filaments. Large, semidouble to rose form double to formal double. Most often formal double. Average, upright growth. M. (U.S. 2013 - Howell).

BENTEN MRS. R. L. WHEELER - Pink. Medium, formal double. (U.S. - Camellia Forest, Chapel Hill, NC).

BESSIE BATTLE - White with Golden stamens and White filaments. Medium to large, semidouble to loose peony form. The petals are wavy and notched at the end. Average, upright, spreading growth. M. (U.S. 1999 - Tom Dodd Nurseries, Semmes, AL).

BISHÔNEN (BEAUTIFUL BOY) - Pink background with a peppering of deeper Pink and Carmine stripes with Golden anthers. Large, semidouble - Higo style. Spreading growth. M-L. (Sport of Higo 'Shintsukasa-nishiki'). (Japan 1969 - Ohta Nursery, Kumamoto).

BLOOMFIELD (MORRIS) - Scarlet Red. Small, single. Vigorous, fully branched to ground growth. (Seeds from NW South Korea - Barry Yinger, et al - before 1986). (U.S. 2011 - Morris Arboretum, Philadelphia, PA).

C. M. GORDY - Bright Pink with Gold anthers and Cream filaments. Large, semidouble with creped and ruffled petals. Vigorous, dense growth. E-M. (U.S. 2013 – Gordy).

CAROL'S KATIE - Pink to Rose Pink with bright Yellow anthers and White to translucent filaments. Medium, semidouble. The flowers are fragrant. Average, dense and open growth. M-L. (U.S. 2013 - Carol Comber, Pensacola, FL).

CARTER'S SUNBURST SPECIAL - Medium Pink with deeper Pink veining and an irregular white border with bright Yellow anthers and White filaments. Large to very large, semidouble to loose peony to rose form double. The bloom is occasionally striped dark Pink to Red. Bloom won Best Sport in Charleston 2014 Winter Show. Vigorous, upright growth. E-L. (sport of 'Carter's Sunburst'). (U.S. 2014 - Tommy Alden, Byron, GA).

CHARLIE ADAMS - Bright Red variegated White with Yellow anthers and Yellow filaments. Large, semidouble. Average, upright, open growth. M-L. (U.S. 2013 - Robert A. Stroud, Slidell, LA).

CHÛJÔHAKU - Pure White with Yellow anthers and Yellow filaments. Large, single - Higo form, occasionally anemone. Slow, spreading growth. E-L. (Japan 1934 - Kansai District).

CURLY LADY - Red. Medium, semidouble to peony. Twisted branches and leaves. M. (Sport of Japonica 'Lady Campbell'). (Netherlands 2008 - Van Vliet New Plants).

DARLEEN GRACE - Cream White with a touch of Pink on the outer petals with Gold anthers and Cream filaments. Medium, semidouble to loose peony. It sometimes blooms Blush Pink with darker Pink late in the season. Average, upright growth. M-L. (U.S. 2013 – Gordy).

DEBUTANTE BENTEN - Pink. Medium, full peony. Vigorous, upright growth. E-M. (Leaf sport of Japonica 'Debutante). (U.S. 2002 - Shirley Real).

DESERT SUNSET – Bright Coral Pink with bright Gold anthers and Cream filaments. Large, semidouble. The flower has retic-like characteristics and will sometime have rabbit ears in cooler weather. Vigorous, upright, dense growth. M. (U.S. 2013 – Gordy).

EGAO - Light Pink. Large, single with circular White stamens. See Higo. (Not to be confused with Vernalis ‘Egao’ – a separate variety).

ELIZABETH DOWD MYSTIQUE - White to pale Pink with darker Pink water marking with Yellow anthers and White filaments. Large, semidouble to rose form double. Average, upright and open growth. M-L. (Sport of Japonica 'Elizabeth Dowd Silver'). (U.S. 2013 - James & Elaine Smelley).

ELLEN DANIEL RED – Bright Red. Miniature to small, formal double to peony form. Average, upright growth. M. (Color sport of Japonica ‘Ellen Daniel). (U.S. 1980’s)

ELLEN DANIEL RED VARIEGATED – Bright Red with vivid White mottling. Miniature to small, formal double to peony form. Average, upright growth. M. (Virus variegated form of Japonica ‘Ellen Daniel Red). (U.S. 1980’s)

ENCHANTED EVENING - Deep Lavender with bright Gold anthers and Pink filaments. Medium, anemone. The blooms have many tightly clustered petaloids mingled with bright gold stamens. Average, open growth. M. (Japonica ‘Edna Campbell’ seedling). (U.S. 2013 – Gordy).

GORDY'S PRETTY LADY - Clear Pink. Large to very large, semidouble to loose peony form with soft Yellow stamens. Average, open and upright growth. E-L. (U.S. 2005 - Gordy). (Previously invalidly named Japonica 'Pretty Lady').

HAPPY TALK - Soft Coral Red with Gold anthers and Cream filaments. Medium, loose peony to rose form double. Average, upright growth. (Japonica ‘Happy Times’ seedling). (U.S. 2013 - Gordy).

HENRY PARRISH - Dark Red. Medium, loose peony to semidouble and rarely formal double. Vigorous, upright, dense growth. M. (U.S. 2007 - Hulyn Smith).

HENRY VIII - Deep Rose-Pink (also has variegated form) with Yellow anthers and White filaments. Medium, semidouble to full peony. Petaloids and stamens within lower petals are also common. Vigorous, upright growth. E. (U.S. 1938-1939 - G. Gerbing, Fernandino, FL).

JIM FINLAY’S FRAGRANT - Light Red. Medium, peony form. Average growth. E-L. Fragrant. (N.Z. 1994 — J. Finlay, Whangarei).

JERRY CONRAD - Rose-Red with Yellow anthers and Cream filaments. Large, semidouble to loose peony. Vigorous, upright growth. M. ('Moonlight Bay' seedling). (U.S. 2014 - Jerry Conrad, Mt. Plymouth, FL).

JESSICA BEACH - Pink with Yellow anthers and White filaments. Medium, semidouble to full peony to rose form double. Vigorous, upright growth. M. (Japonica 'Angel's Blush' seedling). (U.S. 2013 - Miles A Beach, Mt. Pleasant, SC).

JOHNNY LAMEY, III – Medium Red with Yellow anthers and White filaments. Large to Very large, semidouble. The stamens spread out into five parts. Average, upright, dense growth. M. (U.S. 2013 – Howell)

JOHNSON VAN CATHERINE - Deep Rose Pink with White dapples at outside of petals with Yellow anthers and White filaments. Medium, semidouble. The petaloids divert the stamens. Bloom won Best Sport in Columbia 2013 Winter Show. Vigorous, upright growth. M-L. (sport of 'Eugene Bolen'). (U.S. 2014 - Catherine Johnson, Perry, GA).

KOREAN SNOW - Pure White with Golden anthers and Yellow filaments. Medium, single. Upright, open growth. E. (Seeds from NW South Korea - Barry Yinger, et al - before 1986). (U.S. - Camellia Forest, Chapel Hill, NC).

KYLE WHITE - White with Yellow anthers and White filaments. Medium, semidouble to rose form double. The edges of each petal have a notch in the center. Average, upright, open growth. M-L. (U.S. 2013 - Barbara Kyle, New Iberia, LA).

LADY IDA PEARL – White. Large, formal double. Vigorous, spreading dense growth. M-L. (U.S. 2013 – Tom Sellers, Bolivia, NC).

LAURA GORDY – Soft Pink with Gold anthers and Cream filaments. Medium, semidouble to rose form double. Average, spreading growth. M. (U.S. 2013 – Gordy).

LILA S. ROBERTS - Light Pink with darker Pink stripes and flecks with Yellow anthers and White filaments. Medium, rose form double to formal double. Average, upright and dense growth. M. (U.S. 2014 - Lawrence and Lila Roberts).

LILIANE WELLS — White, sometimes with Blush throat and Pink stripes. Very large, anemone form. Average, spreading, upright growth. E-M. (U.S. 1963 — H. Wilson, Fresno, CA).

LOUISE FITZGERALD - Creamy Pink with lighter outer markings with Creamy Golden anthers and Creamy Golden filaments. Large to very large, semidouble. Rapid, upright, spreading growth. E-M. (Sport of Japonica ‘Sweetie Pie’). (U.S. 2007 – Jerry Conrad, Plymouth, FL).

MADAME HAAS - Light Red with more deeply colored veins with a floral center marked light Pink. Medium, formal double. Vigorous, upright growth. M. (France 1879 - E. Haas).

MAGIC TOUCH – Soft Pink with light Gold anthers and Pink filaments. Large, semidouble. Average, upright growth. M. (U.S. 2013 – Gordy).

MAIDEN OF GREAT PROMISE - Pink. Medium to large, peony. Compact growth. The plant is very cold hardy. L. (U.S. 2008 - Ohio).

MARY ANN LAWRENCE - Bright Red with Yellow anthers and White filaments. Large, semidouble. There is a vivid contrast of red petals and yellow stamens. Average, spreading, dense growth. M-L. (Japonica 'Royal Velvet' seedling). (U.S. 2013 - Steve & Gayle Lawrence, Tallahassee, FL).

MOMOIRO BOKUHAN - Dark Rose outer petals with Rose petaloids fringed with White with light Yellow stamens. Miniature to small, anemone. Very slow, dense growth. Very cold hardy. E-M. (Japan 1960 - Kansai area).

MONDAY’S CHILD – Deep Pink with bright Gold anthers and Pink filaments. Large, anemone form. Average, upright growth. M-L. (U.S. 2013 – Gordy).

NUCCIO'S CAMEO VARIEGATED - Light Pink to Coral Pink blotched White variation of Nuccio's Cameo. (U.S. 2014).

OYLER'S SYDNEY - Fuchsia and White with Golden anthers and Cream filaments. Medium, full peony. Slow, upright and dense growth. M-L. (U.S. 2014 - Donald R. Oyler, Mobile, AL).

PAULA DEEN - Soft Red with Yellow anthers and White filaments. Medium, semidouble to anemone. Slow, upright growth. M-L. (U.S. 2014 - Lillian Gordy, Ocala, FL).

PINK RIBBON - Pink with minor variegation. Medium to large, formal double. Average, upright, dense growth. The plant is very cold hardy. M-L. (U.S. 2013 - Howell).

POP'S PERFECTION PEPPERMINT - Burgundy stripes on a Pink background. Tendency to sport single colored flower. Small, formal double. Very slow growth. M-L. (U.S. - John Davy, Milton, FL).

PURPLE PASSION - Reddish Purple center to deep Purple outer petals with dark Purple radial veining. Medium, formal double. The Purple coloration holds true through most of the bloom season but extremely late blooms lose some of the Blue pigment. Average, upright, dense growth. M-L. (U.S. 2013 - Richard Dodd, Marshallville, GA).

RENA CAMPBELL - Variable: Rose to solid Red, White, White with Red stripes, and medium Pink with stripes and flecks of deeper Pink. Medium, loose peony form. Vigorous, upright, bushy growth. M-L. (Seed parent of ‘Mrs. F. L. Gibson’ and seed grandparent of ‘Betty Sheffield’). (U.S. 1890-1900 – Loui Lauraine Campbell, Quitman, GA).

RICHARD GORDY – Deep Red with bright Gold anthers and Pink filaments. Medium, semidouble. The petals often have a waxy look. Average, upright, dense growth. M-L. (U.S. 2013 – Gordy).

RILYN BOUERES - Lavender variegated White with bright Yellow anthers and White filaments. Medium to large, semidouble. Vigorous, upright, dense growth. M-L. (U.S. 2013 - Howard & Mary Rhodes, Tallahassee, FL).

ROSEMARIE OSTBERG - Very dark Pink with Gold anthers and White filaments. Medium, semidouble to anemone. Average, upright growth. M. (U.S. 2013 – Gordy).

RUPIE - White with stripes or spots of dark Pink sometimes producing a flower Pink on one half and White on the other half with Gold anthers and Yellow filaments. Medium to large, semidouble to loose peony. Average, upright growth. M. (U.S. 2013 - Rupert E. Drews, Charleston, SC).

RYAN GAINEY - Pale to Blush Pink on the center petals progressing to deep Pink on the outer petals with Yellow anthers and White filaments. Large, semidouble. The bloom has pointed petals in the center and outer petals. Average, upright growth. M-L. ('Magnoliaeflora' seedling). (U.S. 2014 - Ryan Gainey, Decatur, GA).

SAN DIMAS - Dark Red. Medium to large, semidouble with irregular petals. Average, compact growth. E-M. (U.S. 1971 - Nuccio's).

SAN DIMAS VARIEGATED — Dark Red blotched White variation of ‘San Dimas’. (U.S. 1971 - Nuccio's).

SCARLET RIBBONS - Vibrant Red with Gold anthers and Cream filaments. Medium, loose peony to rose form double. Average, spreading, open growth. E-L. (Japonica ‘Jean Clere’ seedling). (U.S. 2013 – Gordy).

SHIRO-HAGOROMO (WHITE HAGOROMO) - White. Medium, semidouble (lotus form - hose-in-hose). Average, compact growth. M-L. (Japonica 'Magnoliaeflora' seedling). (Japan 1975 - Shigeichi Yagi, Ehime).
