Compartment 001:

·  Put trail label on map

Compartment 015:

·  Stand 35 – (because of wood turtles) can’t operate May thru August E side of stand

·  Lay road out on the ground – evaluate route for survey needs then

Compartment 026:

·  Stands 24,19 – need map changes

Compartment 035:

·  Stands 68,69,70 – change to Q3s

·  Stand 33 – change treatment period to 1, add comments to OIPC – evaluate cutting portion of stand next decade

·  Stands 16,19,28 – no operations May thru August because of wood turtles

·  Need to get corner set (survey request) – check possible gate on state land

Compartment 039:

·  Stand 12 – not SCA

·  Bob B will put engineering request together (with copy of old request). Need justification for doing through t-sale.

Compartment 065:

·  Stand 72 – drop SCA

·  All stands being cut - put operations “caution” in – prefer to cut in summer due to snowmobile trail

·  Stands 19,22 – re-word restrictions

·  Stands 19, 42 – plant acorns as well as hemlock & oak

Compartment 069:

·  No Changes

Compartment 075:

·  Stands 27,32 – check site index codes

·  Stand 26 – change to thinning

·  Stands 6,45 – re-route trail during harvesting operations

Compartment 083:

·  Stand 87 – drop burn codes

·  Change comments regarding “no recreational facility” to trail thru compartment

Compartment 094:

·  All POG – Terry (& Craig) will get with Bob B. to come up with correct verbiage for comments.

·  Stands 76,77 – hold cut until stand 71 is ready

·  On description sheet, strike comment regarding “no recreational facility”

Compartment 108:

·  Any stands along the river – add stand condition 8

·  Stands 15,29 (M4s) – schedule for opening maintenance. MO = grass

·  Add recreational facility - campground

Compartment 116:

·  Cut scotch pine along crossings along M-28 corridor in out of entry compartments. Kris to update OIPC and document this decision in files

·  Stand 75 – we don’t own right-of-way. Check with sign shop - need to check this out.

Compartment 129:

·  Stand 62 – any additional planting to be JP - areas replanted to J will be typed out and a new stand created.

·  Add snowmobile symbol to map.

Compartment 150:

·  No Changes

Compartment 162:

·  No Changes

Compartment 166:

·  Stand 31 – check into location of osprey nest – work around it.

Compartment 171:

·  No Changes

Compartment 184:

·  Tweak SCA conditions of stands – use deer yard layer

Compartment 195:

·  Sands 9,10,11 – no cutting December thru March, unless site conditions will only allow a winter cut. . If winter cut, do late enough to not draw deer across highway

·  Deeryards – should be SCA

Compartment 196:

·  Need to have some map update – indicate SCA area

Compartment 102 – different entry year:

·  119 acres – remove diseased beech - plant WP, Oak, & Hemlock

·  only sell to D.O.C.

·  Can’t move, wood for one year after cutting.\

·  Stands 60,63,17,21

·  Bob Heyd will look into this

Misc. Notes:

·  John Ries’ letter needs to be entered into OI?

·  SCA if MNFI?

·  Deer yard overlay - depends if majority of stand is in or out

·  Discussed Carley property acquisition. It goes into adjacent compartment – WLD hopes to fly in ’06. OK’d restoration work (planting) in interim.
