Stage and Film Actress Gemma Arterton Partners with Skincare Brand NEUTROGENA®

Neuss, Juni 2016.NEUTROGENA® announced that stage and film actress Gemma Arterton has joined the brand’s iconic roster of Brand Ambassadors. The English-born star will support the brand’s See What’s Possible campaign and appear in adverts for new Neutrogena products this summer.

“Having used their products for many years, I was thrilled to be asked to join the Neutrogena family,” said Arterton.

“Gemma is a brilliant example of how believing in yourself can lead to great accomplishments,” said SebastienGullion, Senior Director of Beauty, EMEA, Johnson & Johnson Consumer Companies. “She doesn’t just excel as a performer, she’s also working to provide opportunities for other actresses to play strong, inspiring characters through her production company. This is a natural partnership for Neutrogena because Gemma exemplifies passion and commitment -just like the women who use our products every day.”

Neutrogena has brought groundbreaking skin care solutions to consumers for more than 60 years. Today, the brand offers innovative facial care, body, and acne products across the globe that deliver real results that truly matter to one’s healthy beauty. Earlier this year Neutrogena launched its first-ever global campaign: “Neutrogena. See What’s Possible,™” which inspires women to challenge the status quo in their own lives the same way that the brand has launched ground breaking skincare innovations and firsts in the beauty category throughout its history.

Arterton joins beauty icons including Jennifer Garner, Kerry Washington and Kristen Bell as a NeutrogenaBrand Ambassador.

Gemma Arterton’s rise to stardom began with performances in student productions that got her noticed while she was still at RADA and she quickly graduated from a role in St Trinian’s to her breakout role playing a rookie agent in the James Bond film Quantum of Solace, which led to big-budget Hollywood films such as Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time and Clash of the Titans resulting in a BAFTA Nomination for their Rising Star Award. Arterton has also appeared in TV dramas such as BBC’s Tess of the D’Urbervilles and Capturing Mary, and independent films such as The Disappearance of Alice Creed and Gemma Bovery, Arterton’s first foreign language role. With an ongoing love of the stage, Gemma made her professional debut in Shakespeare’s Love’s Labours Lost and currently starts in Nell Gwynn in London’s West End. With five upcoming film releases including The Girl with All the Gifts, Their Finest Hour and a Half, A Hundred Streets, French film Orpheline and The History of Love and a passion for producing her own projects with strong female roles, Gemma also helped set up Rebel Park, an all-woman production company that will hopefully launch its first project this year.
