  5. Will do at Navajo
  6. Has enough folks who have done 1 and 2
  7. TIPCAP and IHS parties who qualify
  8. Experience with injury data collection
  9. Candidates can demonstrate putting knowledge into action
  10. TIPCAP can probably use grant dollars to travel
  11. Potential instructors – all 4 IP specialists have needed pre-reqs
  12. Facilities available there
  13. Can support by assembling course materials
  14. Area office willing to support
  15. Nancy: Richard, can you support travel for instructors?
  16. Richard: Not sure. If it comes from travel pot of money, it would be hard. I’ll ask the powers that be.
  17. Holly: Debby’s proposal also good, but Debby decided right now is not good time to do in Albuquerque area. Tight with work load right now, but people would make it work if needed.
  18. Debby: What if we do it in two areas?
  19. Holly: That’s ideal, but cost and travel is such an issue. Just doing one is good for now. If Albuquerque wants to support doing it here, we can talk about it.
  20. Debby: Yes, they are all on board and want to do it.
  21. Sionna: TIPCAP folks from Albuquerque are welcome to attend course at Navajo.
  22. Richard: Restricted to 8. May have more than that interested – have to make sure we get the right people there.
  23. Holly: Yes, who will give us the feedback we’re looking for on process and materials
  24. Debby: Potential instructors concerned about time frames getting materials
  25. Marguerite: Draft of materials sent to workgroup 1st week of March , given chance to review. Will revise and send to instructors by 2nd week of April.
  26. Holly: Pilot will be in June
  27. Nancy: 1st week of June. Conflicts in 2nd week.
  28. Nancy: Instructors can have sessions on their own with Sionna, talk it through with Marguerite and walk them though it
  29. Holly: Just hand materials to them. See how user-friendly they are. They can ask questions if needed.
  30. Marguerite: How much time needed to review and have call providing feedback on instructor’s guide/presentations/handouts?
  31. Holly: Review whole thing?
  32. Marguerite: Yes, but if you were part of workgroup that created a section, pay special attention to it
  33. Sionna: 2 – 3 weeks at least. End of March or early April, April is really busy for folks.
  34. Richard: When will course material be completed?
  35. Marguerite: Hopefully 2nd week of April for final. 1st week of March for draft. Do you want draft?
  36. Richard: Yes
  37. Marguerite: Online training plan. Many ways it can be done. If you’ve had experience with this, please give me your ideas. I’ll be sending a sheet with possibilities later to get your feedback.
  38. Richard: I am looking into this anyway. Please keep me in the loop.
  39. Debby: Nancy and Holly, will you both be observing pilot?
  40. Holly: I will attend and observe. Would like to have instructors who were not involved in developing.
  41. Nancy: I’m hoping to be there.
  42. Marguerite: Sionna, let us know what you need from us for participants, instructors to send invitations.
  43. Holly: Will send you delineation of responsibilities for instructors.
  44. Next Meeting on Pilot Materials Feedback: April 1, 2013 1:00 EDT
  45. Yes: Sionna, Jason, Bridget (some time restrictions. 9:30 – 11:30 pacific), Celeste, Nancy, Holly, Richard, Debby
