Attached are two calendar invitations for the DDS National Fingerprint Background Check system webinars scheduled for next Tuesday 12/29. We’ve scheduled two 90 minute sessions; the first from 10-11:30, and the second from 12:30-2. Each session has a participation capacity of 100 users, so you will have to register in advance if you wish to attend one of these sessions. We will have to cap the number of participants when we reach capacity. We will likely be scheduling follow up webinars on Wednesday if demand is high, so we ask that you only register to attend one of the sessions and not both. If your organization has a large number of users, please try to share your viewing of the session so as many people as possible may attend.
I’ve spoken with many of you over the past several weeks, and I appreciate your thoughtful questions and continued cooperation and patience as we work through this. As you know by now, we’re considering this a “soft launch” to give us time to work out systems issues before scaling the effort. We hope that the webinars will be instructive for you, but also will help inform our thinking as we get your feedback and work to improve upon the preliminary business process design so that it supports our collective business needs in the most efficient way possible.
