SOCCER TOURNAMENT
Students in grades 4-8 will participate in the soccer tournament at Chesterly Park here in Yakima this Friday, October 10th. Players should bring a sack lunch and a water bottle and meet at the park at 9:30 a.m.
HARVEST PARTY
Our school Harvest Party will be on Friday, October 24th starting at 5:30 p.m. We will begin the evening with a potluck dinner. Students and adults who wear a costume will be entered into a prize drawing. In addition we will also have a pumpkin carving contest. Students who wish to participate should carve their pumpkins at home and bring them to the Harvest Party that evening. Then the adults will open their trunks so that children can go from trunk to trunk collecting candy. We have a few students who are allergic to nuts and we want to make sure that everyone is safe. Please speak with Mr. Lai if you have any questions.
Preschool and Kindergarten: Dessert
Grades 1-8: Main Dish
The school will provide salad and drinks.
SINGING IN CHURCH
Students in preschool - grade 8 will be singing in church on Sunday, October 26th. Please have your child wear appropriate church clothing and meet in Mr. Lai’s classroom at 8:45 a.m.

SCRIP
On parent orientation night we talked about our SCRIP program. This program allows you to purchase gift cards to a variety of stores, restaurants, etc. A percentage of your purchase goes back to the school. This year when parents purchase these gift cards, half of the proceeds will go to the school and half will be credited to your child’s tuition account. If you wish to purchase a gift card, please see Mr. Lai any day before or after school.
