I plan to attend the Southwest High School Graduation ceremony on June 12, 2017 7:00 PM. I agree to meet the following requirements:

A.  I agree to assume all financial responsibility for cap, gown, and all other graduation fees. This includes past due fees owed to the school or any school organization.

B.  I will attend all graduation rehearsals in the SWHS gymnasium on June 9th at 12:00PM - 3:00 PM (students who do not attend rehearsals will not walk at graduation).

C.  I will wear only the authorized cap, gown and tassel. In addition, graduates may wear the following academic cords, medals or stoles if earned: National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society, SAT Scholarship, AVID, Asset, CRC, NC Scholars and Valedictorian/ Salutatorian.

D.  Students will not add any other accessories, decorations, or carry any placards, posters or any other paraphernalia that might detract from the ceremony.

E.  My attire under the gown will be in accordance with school dress code and will reflect the importance and dignity of the occasion. (For men: black slacks, black dress shoes and white button down dress shirt with dark tie. For ladies: black dress, black shoes)

F.  I will report to the SWHS library no later than 6:00 P.M. on June 12th in order to participate in graduation.

G.  I will follow all expectations of behavior set forth by the administration regarding the graduation ceremony. Additionally, I understand that all county and school policies will apply.

**I understand that if I deliberately violate any of the above conditions, I will forfeit my right to participate in the ceremony. I further understand that in the event of my violation of any of the above, I will be required to leave the graduation ceremony.

Students who do not return a signed contract will not be permitted to participate in the graduation ceremony.
