MAYOR FOR THE DAY CONTESTANT WINNER CALLED THE CITY OF ARTHUR TAX EQUALIZATION MEETING TO ORDER. COUNCIL MET AS A BOARD OF EQUALIZATION. TAX EQUALIZATION MEETING MINUTES ARE AVAILABLE IN THE TAX REGISTER BOOK. TAX EQUALIZATION MEETING ADJOURNED.

NORMAL MONTHLY BILLS RECEIVED WERE JDA $50.00, MARIE SHIELDS $20.13, CASS COUNTY REPORTER $56.81, PETRO SERVE $177.96, CASS RURAL WATER $4642.40, CITY OF FARGO $14.00, METRO DISPOSAL $2245.00, ND RURAL WATER $200.00, BILLS MOTIONED TO BE PAID BY TIM IWEN, SECONDED BY GREG NELSON, CARRIED.
LATE WATER BILLS WERE REVIEWED.
TIM KECKLER AND ALAYNA KRAFT INTRODUCED THE CITY OF ARTHUR WEBSITE THEY HAVE DESIGNED. COUNCIL DISCUSSED THE SITE AND ADDED INPUT TO POSSIBLE ADDITIONS.
MARIE SHIELDS COMMUNITY COORDINATOR REPORT WHICH ENTAILED INFORMATION ABOUT GRANT APPLICATIONS, MOBILE MOOSE VET CLINIC, CONCEALED WEAPONS CLASS..
DEPUTY MYRON CANALAS INTRODUCED HIMSELF TO COUNCIL AND DISCUSSED VARIOUS ISSUES WITH COUNCIL.
SCOTT KROEGER DISCUSSED WITH COUNCIL UNLICENSED CARS IN TOWN. COUNCIL AGREED TO SEND LETTERS TO INDIVIDUALS THAT MAY HAVE VEHICLES VIOLATING ABANDONED VEHICLE ORDINANCE.
COUNCIL DISCUSSED A POSSIBLE ORDINANCE RELATING TO SEMI ENGINE BRAKES, DEPUTY MYRON CANALAS WILL CHECK INTO HOW TO ENFORCE SUCH A ORDINANCE.
GREG NELSON MOTIONED TO APPROVE MOSQUITO CONTROL CONTRACT WITH AIRBORNE CUSTOM SPRAYING SECONDED BY SCOTT KROEGER, CARRIED.
COUNCIL DISCUSSED THE BEST COURSE OF ACTION IN UPDATING PROPERTY CARD RECORDS FOR THE ASSESSOR. MARK SORVAAG TO CHECK WITH LISA BEILKE ABOUT HER AVAILABILITY AND COMPENSATION FOR UPDATING THE RECORDS.
COUNCIL WAS INFORMED THAT SPRING FLOODING MAY CAUSE I-29 TO FLOOD NORTH OF FARGO AND IN THAT EVENT, NORMAL INTERSTATE TRAVEL WILL BE RE-ROUTED THROUGH ARTHUR.
