Final Inspection Checklist Decisions

1 / Homeowner shall provide a Certificate of Occupancy for all projects. / Homeowner shall provide a Certificate of Occupancy or a valid building permit if a CO is not required by the local building authority.
If work was completed without a building permit, the homeowner must obtain one from the local building authority.
If a building permit is not required for the work completed, this requirement is waived.
2 / Homeowner shall provide proof of contractor bonds for all projects. / Waive
3 / Homeowner shall sign and return Homeowner Certification Document for all projects. / Waive
4 / Designer shall sign and return Designer Certification Document for all projects. / Designer shall sign and return the Designer Certification Document for all projects.
If Designer refuses to sign document, homeowner may provide proof of payment to Program, and shall receive the lesser of the allocated 10% Designer Fee and receipt-based actual Designer payment.
If homeowner has no Designer this requirement is waived. 10% Designer Fee award shall be not awarded and/or recaptured.
5 / Contractor Certification Document shall be required for all projects. / Final Construction Completion form will be required. Homeowner will sign this form certifying work completed to code and that the green retro checklist was followed. / Contractor Certification Document shall be refined to become a construction completion form.
6 / Permits shall be required for all work on all projects. / Waive / Redundant of #1
7 / Post-Construction Elevation Certificates shall be required for all Elevation projects. / Required
