Students will be able to comprehend the 5 components of fitness as well as the exercises that test each area.
Affective:
Students will be able to cooperate and demonstrate the benefits of exercise on everyday life.
Psychomotor:
Students will be assessed on the components of fitness such as flexibility, muscular strength and endurance, body composition and cardiovascular fitness through the presidential fitness tests. / 10.5.12

Students will be assessed on their ability to appropriately follow rules and directions during activities and game play.
Affective:
Students will be able to socialize and work with peers while performing team tasks.
Psychomotor:
Students will be able to execute offensive and defensive strategies during competitions. / 10.1.12
A.Evaluate factors that impact growth and development during adulthood and late adulthood.
B.Evaluate factors that impact the body systems and apply protective/preventive strategies.

Third Quarter
Students will understand:
Participation in physical activity impacts wellness throughout a lifetime. / Why do people choose the physical activities they participate in over a lifetime?
How can participation in physical activity enhance MY life? / Cognitive:
Students will be assessed on their knowledge regarding weight equipment and the muscle groups used during each exercise.
Affective:
Students will work with a partner to evaluate form and skill during weightroom and pool activities.
Psychomotor:
Students will be assessed on their ability to correctly demonstrate strength training exercises in the weightroom.
Students will be assessed on their ability to correctly perform various swimming strokes in the pool, as well as float, and tread water. / 10.4.12

Students will identify strategies to prevent exercise-related injuries.
Affective:
Students will be assessed on their ability to demonstrate teamwork and good sportsmanship during activities and game situations.
Psychomotor:
Students will be assessed on their ability to correctly perform fundamental skills such as throwing, catching, passing, and kicking. / 10.1.12
