TOURNAMENT CHAIRMAN: Wayne Williamson 220-0125
FORMAT: Individual players will compete in stroke play within flights in each division. The lowest gross scores for the two days will determine the Club Champion and Runner-up in each division and the first and second place winners in each flight. Third place in each flight will go to the player with the lowest net score. Flight placements within divisions are based on USGA handicap index.
OPEN DIVISION: Any member who wishes to compete for the title of Club Champion must enter the Open Division. Players 54 years of age or younger must play in this division, which will be from modifiedblue tees. Junior members at least age 16 years old with a USGA handicap index of 7.4 or less may enter the Open Division.
SENIOR DIVISION: Any member age 55 or older may enter to compete for the title of Senior Club Champion. Entrants will play from the blue tees.
SUPER-SENIOR DIVISION: Any member age 70 or older may enter to compete for the title of Super-Senior Club Champion. Entrants will play from the white tees.
LEGENDS DIVISION: Any member age 77 or older may enter to compete for the title of Legends Club Champion. Players will play from the red tees.
Note: Ties for division winners will be decided by a sudden death playoff.
Participants will earn points toward the season’s overall standings for the Kingsmill Cup Team.
ENTRY FEE: The$40 entry fee per player covers prizes, beverages during play, beer and crackers after play both days, and a reception and awards ceremony on Sunday at 5:30 PM. Participants may bring a spouse and/or guest(s) to the reception by paying an additional $10 per person. Cart fees will be charged to each player’s Kingsmill account.
