Conference Commissioner: Mr. Michael McCarthy is responsible for assigning officials for conference games. He is also responsible for taking the minutes at the Principal and Athletic Director meetings
Football: All teams will have one independent game week one. The next 9 games will be conference play. All games will start at 7:00pm and Varsity are played on Fridays. JV games are played on Saturdays and freshmen games are played on Thursday. All games will be played at First Federal Lakewood Stadium. The championship will be determined from conference game play during the season.
Volleyball:There will be 18 conference games with each team playing the other twice trading locations. Varsity, JV and freshmen games will be played on the same day with the following start times 4:30pm, 5:30pm and 6:30pm. Volleyball games will be played at Harding Middle School. The championship will be determined from conference game play during the season.
Girls Soccer: The soccer teams will play 9 conference games and 7 independent games. The games are played on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. JV will start at 5:00pm and the Varsity games will start at 7:00pm. Saturday games will be start at 1:00pm and 3:00pm. Games will be played at Garfield and First Federal Lakewood Stadium. The championship will be determined from conference game play during the season.

Golf: The Golf team will play a series of single matches and triangular meets against the conference teams. All home games will be played at Springvale Golf course. The championship will be determined from a combination of conference game play and the end of the season tournament.
Boys and Girls Cross Country: There will be a preseason Southwestern Conference meet in August. The teams will meet again in October to decide the conference championship. The teams will receive new warm ups this fall.
Girls Tennis: They will play 9 conference games. We will also host the Lakewood Doubles tournament in September. All matches will start at 4:30pm.There will be an end of the season conference tournament to determine the champion.
Cheerleaders (Football and Basketball): Will participate in the Conference Cheerleader competition. This competition is sold out almost every year. Avon Lake or North Ridgeville will host the event.

Some away teams will start at 11:30am, 1:00pm and 2:30pm. The championship will be determined from conference game play during the season.
Wrestling: All home wrestling events will be held at Old Roosevelt Gym. The team will compete in a series of single matches and triangular meets against the conference teams. There will be an end of the season conference tournament to determine the champion.
Gymnastics: There are only 5 teams that sponsor gymnastics. The conference will only offer a championship if there are 6 teams that sponsor the sport. The team will compete at Horace Mann during the season. All meets start at 6:00pm.
Ice Hockey: The hockey team will play all of their home games at Serpentini Arena. The start times vary. The team will participate in the Greater Cleveland Hockey Association. There are 3 divisions in the league. We will participate in the White Division. The team will receive new uniforms this winter. There will be an end of the season conference tournament to determine the champion.
Swimming and Diving: The conference meet will be held at Westlake. Once our construction is completed Lakewood will host the conference meet as requested by the conference coaches. All dual meets will be held on various weekdays, but all home meets will have a 6:00pm start time. The team will receive new warm ups this winter.

Football: Garfield and Harding will combine 7th and 8th grade teams to form one Lakewood 7th grade and one Lakewood 8th grade team. All games and practices will be held at Garfield Stadium. The teams will receive new uniforms this fall. The championship will be determined from conference game play during the season.
