APPROVED PREMISES Relief WORKERS - National probation Service – North West

Location: Accrington, Blackburn, pRESTON

Salary: NNC Point 28 £9.02 per hour

Highfield House Accrington, Haworth House Blackburn and Edith Rigby House (female only), Preston are staffed 24 hours a day and accommodate offenders subject to Court orders, post custody supervision and persons on bail. Residents may have a variety of problems linked to offending, substance misuse, mental health, social and life skills deficiencies. Staff within the Approved Premises assist residents to work on these issues and ensure public protection.

We are seeking to appoint Relief Approved Premises Workers to join the Probation Approved Premises team, covering waking nights, weekdays and weekends on a rota system and some bank holidays. Applicants should be flexible and dependable. Hours worked will vary dependant on staffing needs

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/SPECIAL TRAINING
ESSENTIAL
Good standard of general education.
Literate and numerate.

DESIRABLE

First Aid / Health & Safety (or equivalent) qualification
Food and Hygiene qualification
Evidence of self-improvement, through study or training after leaving school and within recent years.
CRB disclosure certificate issued within the last 12 months /
