CUSTOM MARINE INC. CELEBRATES OPENING OF NEW FACILITY

Headquarters moved under one roof to streamline operations and enhance responsiveness to market.

NEENAH, WI – October 3, 2006 – Custom Marine Inc. (CMI) hosted business partners and civic leaders at the grand opening of a new corporate headquarters located in Neenah, Wis. The new 95,220 square foot structure has been designed from the ground up to manufacture high-quality mufflers, exhaust systems and components for marine, turf care and specialty power products applications. The facility will allow CMI to incorporate manufacturing operations and administration under one roof, which will improve services and responsiveness needed to meet the ever-changing demands of the global marketplace.

“Our business relies on using sophisticated equipment that enables us to design and manufacture the technologically advanced products our customers expect from the industry leader,” said Joe Zelinski, president of Custom Marine Inc. “But we could not keep pace with the market without increasing our manufacturing footprint. We also needed to make certain we maintained our ability to effectively serve and support our customers, which is why it was important for us to have all our operations under one roof.

“To deliver superior service and high-quality products we also need to have the right people in place. That is a key reason we chose to keep our operations based in the Fox Valley area. We know that here we have a strong base of skilled trades people committed to building very high-quality products and working together as a team. We can not build our products without these kinds of talented people making up our workforce,” Zelinski said.
