Parking Permits 2016 - 2017

All paperwork MUST be completed at the time of application. You must bring in the following information on the appropriate date in order to obtain a parking permit:

1.  Valid Driver’s License (if you have a Drivers Permit you may still come with your completed paperwork and have a spot reserved. The spot will be picked out by GCH Staff)

2.  Valid Vehicle Registration

3.  $20.00 (non-refundable) to purchase parking tag (cash preferred)

4.  Completed Parking Permit Rules form Signed by a Parent and the Student.

5.  Completed Car Information form.

6.  Students are only permitted to purchase a parking permit for themselves or an immediate family member (brother/sister). If the family member is not eligible due to tardies, referrals or absences the sibling may not purchase a parking spot for them.

7.  Students who have not purchased a parking permit by May 31, 2016 may do so in August. Please check the website prior to the start of the 2016 – 2017 school year for the dates and times.

Once the 2016 – 2017 school year has started and you wish to purchase a parking permit you must bring in the completed forms from the gulfcoastsharks.com website. This will only be done in attendance office at lunch, and if spots are available you may purchase one.

Monday, May 23rd 2016; from 2:10 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. is for RISING SENIORS with no referrals or attendance/tardy issues (Students who qualify will be posted on the attendance office window, only the students on this list will be processed on this day)

Tuesday, May 24th 2016; from 2:10 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. is for RISING JUNIORS with no referrals or attendance/tardy issues (Students who qualify will be posted on the attendance office window, only those students on this list will be processed on this day)

The designated day for the remaining RISING SENIORS and RISING JUNIORS is Tuesday, May 31st , 2016; from 2:10 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Only those students who are currently listed as juniors and sophomores can apply on this day).

**Please note if you are NOT classified as a Junior or Senior in August of 2016 when school begins, your parking permit may be revoked. Sophomores (rising freshman) may be offered parking privileges at the beginning of the 2016 -2017 school year if spots are available.

GULF COAST HIGH SCHOOL IS A CLOSED CAMPUS. YOU MAY NOT LEAVE WITHOUT PROPER PERMISSION FOR ANY REASON. LEAVING CAMPUS WITHOUT FOLLOWING PROPER CHECK-OUT PROCEDURES MAY RESULT IN LOSS OF PARKING PRIVILEGES.
