SACS- Please remember, Westhill’s international academic accreditation is under review by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) in Atlanta, Georgia in the United States. This is an extremely important event for the Westhill community. More information about the importance of the SACS review can be found at
Uniform—Please be aware that we have zero tolerance with uniform violations! Check the “Uniform” section in the handbook.
6th Graders in Middle School – We had a really nice time with the 6th graders this past Thursday. We hope they also enjoyed their classes with Mrs. Briggs, Mrs. Marcelin and Mr. McKinley!
Early Dismissal Passes—Dear Parents, please remember that if you need to take your child early they have to hand in a note signed by you not later that 8:00 a.m. In addition they may not leave the building without a signed pass from Mr. Vargas.
Devices with Internet Access-Because of numerous abuses by students with iPhones, iPods, and cellulars with Internet access, these devices will be confiscated and returned by the administration until the end of the school year. Please remember that students are not permitted to have these devices at Westhill Institute during the school day.
School Improvements-New library books are NOW arriving in elementary, middle and high school. The school is investing many thousands of dollars to improve the quality of our print and media resources. All of these improvements make Westhill a better place to learn!

Uniforme- Favor de estar atentos de que tenemos cero tolerancia de acuerdo a la violación en las reglas para portar el uniforme. Pueden leer el manual del alumno en la sección de “Uniforme”.
Alumnos de 6° grado en Secundaria- El pasado jueves pasamos un día genial con los alumnos de 6° grado. Esperamos que ellos también hayan disfrutado las clases con Miss Briggs, Miss Marcelin y Mr. McKinley.
Pases de Salida Temprano- Estimados padres de familia, recuerden que si necesitan llevarse a su hijo temprano deben traer una nota firmada por ustedes antes de las 8:00am. Además no pueden salir del edificio sin el pase firmado por Mr. Vargas.
Aparatos con acceso a Internet- Debido a varios abusos por parte de los alumnos que portan iPhones, iPods y celulares con acceso a Internet, estos artefactos serán confiscados y entregadospor la administración hasta el final del ciclo escolar. Recuerden que los alumnos no tienen permitido traer estos aparatos dentro de la escuela.
Mejoras Escolares- Están llegando nuevos libros a Primaria, Secundaria y Preparatoria. La escuela está invirtiendo cientos de dólares para mejorar la calidad de impresión y recursos tecnológicos. ¡Todas estas mejoras hacen de Westhill un lugar mejor para aprender!
