Function C – Personnel

  • Copy of Mentoring Logs - Mentor Training provided by Academic Reading and Math Coaches at the schools on a daily basis. Certification and Professional Personnel (Chanda Perry)/ Curriculum and Instruction (Mary Lou Perry) County Directors will hold quarterly meetings with new teachers. The paperwork will be on file at WCBOE.

Standard 7 - Engages in Continuous Improvement

Function A – Focused and Coherent Plan

Comprehensive Needs Assessment

  • External Trend Data- Provide information pertaining to mobility rate, socio-economic conditions, community social issues, family structures, and demographics of community and school
  • Student Achievement Data – Provide examples of documentation of various assessment data, data notebooks, data walls, root academic problems, goals to address academic problems, and questions from school test talks (Pictures of the data walls and student engagement processes would be great artifacts to upload)
  • Other Student Outcome Data – Provide charts and reports of school student attendance, discipline, graduation rates (Attendance and College and Career Ready - Career Days, College Days, etc.), and retention policy information and percent retained for the current School Year
  • Culture, Conditions and Practices – Provide reports from classroom walkthroughs, IPI – Instructional Practice Inventories, culture/climate surveys, and parent surveys

Stakeholders

  • Stakeholders Meetings – Ex. LSIC – Local School Improvement Counsel
