Vice President, Teaching & Learning (Position No. 060402005) $64,884/Min. Annual Salary. Presidents Office. Position to be filled in the summer or early fall. A senior level administrator responsible for providing leadership in a team-based environment in the combined areas of student instruction and student leadership and development. Responsible for the development and ongoing implementation of local, national and international marketing and branding of academic distance learning courseware products and services to institutions of higher education. This position will be responsible for the nurse's aide, medication aide and nurse refresher training. Performs assigned non-credit instructional responsibilities and preparations. Activities include but are not limited to: recruiting students, creating a student services/support network, progressively increasing enrollment and retention and developing educational partnerships, community support and program resources. Plans, designs, develop, implements and evaluates all aspects of Richland Restart. Works closely with the Multicultural Center, the Mexican-American/Latino Studies Program and other student services and instructional offices to create and integrate an effective student learning/support network. Recruits students and publicizes program; cultivates college and community representatives, to guide development, implementation and assessment of the program and its services. Creates and maintains student databases for tracking progress and aggregating program data. Develops and monitors program budget; hires, supervises, trains and evaluates program staff. May initiate, develop proposals for, administer, evaluate and prepare reports for grants. Performs other duties as assigned.
