PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

2016-Present  Total Seismic Managing Director and Principal Consultant

I created Total Seismic to set a new benchmark for the delivery of geophysical operations projects and to develop a new generation of industry-leading Australasian Project Managers and Field Supervisors.

I helpedthe Chevron Wheatstone Hookup and Completions management team implement measurable project performance improvement.

2005-2016  Origin Energy  Geophysical Operations Manager (2005-2007 Senior Ops Geophysicist)

Responsible for the high performance delivery of all of Origin Energy’s land and marine seismic surveys, offshore site surveys and other geophysical operations. Delivered around 70 projects for around $400million as Project Manager or Department Manager and established Origin as a geophysical operations leader in regions of Australia, NZ, Vietnam and Kenya.

Built a highly effective Geophysical Operations Management System and team from scratch.

Worked with stakeholders from Government, academia and communities and represented Origin Energy as a subject matter expert for cross industry, community liaisons and media response purposes.

Led the creation of SurveySAFE Land and was the inaugural chairman of the organization in 2012. Regularly presented at industry conferences and was instrumental in a number of step-changes in the land and marine geophysical survey sectors.

2001-2004 Baker Hughes InteqMeasurement While Drilling (MWD) Engineer

Operated BHI’s MWD and directional drilling tools on dozens of drilling projects in the North Sea and Atlantic margin. Most work was on west-of-Shetland BP/Transocean wells.

1998-2001, 2004-2005 Grant Geophysical Field Geophysicist

Provided specialist in-field technical and field management support for land and ocean bottom seismic operations in Guatemala, USA, Mexico, Ecuador, Trinidad, Australia, NZ and Russia.
