MAT 120 Intermediate Algebra WEEK #1 – Review Material
Below, you will find assigned HW for the sections that I consider review material for our course. You should have a solid foundation in these ideas and I will not be officially lecturing over this material. As you review during this week, you should be having “Ah-Ha” moments. You might have forgotten how to do something, but after discussion in class, reading the text, doing HW, etc. you should recall how to do the problems. If this is not occurring you might consider dropping back into MAT 090/092. You need to be comfortable with this material in order to have a chance of succeeding in MAT 120.
Quiz #1 on Monday, Aug. 28th, will cover these sections. In these sections we will talk about algebra foundational topics such as Algebraic Expression, Linear Equations and Inequalities, Linear Graphs, Polynomials, and Factoring.
