The Lodore Falls Hotel boasts 69 bedrooms and2 AA rosette fine dining, recently refurbished, Lake View Restaurant; which in-keeping of its four-star status provides the ideal setting for weddings and fine dining.

What we are looking for:

The successful Pastry Chef will either be an enthusiastic student looking for their first step into the Pastry section or someone with previous experience of working within a fine dining establishment who is looking to enhance their skills, under the guidance of a talented Senior Pastry Chef, with the view to progress quickly within our group.

The Role

  • Ensure excellent quality throughout the dessert service, under the guidance of our Senior Pastry Chef, ensuring pastry and dessert preparation and presentationare to the standards are guests are accustomed to
  • Ensure that high standards are maintained in the quality of food, both as to its preparation and presentation
  • Provision of food preparation cover within the kitchen; including preparation of food, ingredients, and commodities in all areas throughout the kitchen, in readiness for cooking
  • To ensure that all policies, procedures, standards and guidelines are adhered to
  • Receipt and storage of provisions; monitoring stock rotation and ensuring that all food is labelled clearly and correctly
  • Provision of cover in the absence of other section Chefs
  • Any other reasonable duties required by the Head Chef
