In an effort to get more kids playing on teams in the 10 & under age group, USTA Northern is offering support to JTT organizers that offer 10 and Under Tennis as part of their official program. To get support, simply follow the steps below and you could receive:
Discretionary Funding of up to $250
Coaches Curriculum, Parent Guides, and 10 and Under Posters
10 and UnderTennis Event Kit
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be a USTA Organizational Member. Only $35/year for most organizations.
- Register 8U or 10U USTA Jr. Team Tennis teams on TennisLink and use the 10 and Under Tennis format. Must have at least 6 players registered on the roster(s). Players must also be USTA Members to participate.
Application and Award Process:
- Fill out this form and submit to or fax to 952-887-1319.
Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until June 1st or until funds are depleted.
- Applicants will be notified within 2 weeks of receipt of application.
- If receiving funds for equipment, discount ordering sheets will be provided along with your notification letter and a reimbursement form.
- If receiving fulfillment materials, they will be shipped to you within 1 week of your grant notification.
- All reimbursements and monetary grants are contingent upon providing appropriate documentation/receipts and on meeting above eligibility.

Funding Request (up to $250):
Narrative. In 300 words or less, please tell us what support you need and why. Acceptable requests may include, but are not limited to; funding for coordinators, player scholarships, training, marketing, 10 and Under Tennis equipment, etc.

As an official Jr. Team Tennis provider, you also have priority access to the following grant opportunities:
- USTA Northern Community Tennis Grant (up to $3,000 award),
- 10 and Under Tennis Equipment Matching Grant (up to $300 match).
- Permanent 10 and Under Tennis Lines Grant (up to $500 award)
