Wizard of the Week
Dear Families,
Next week we will begin our Wizard of the Week sharing. Students will bring home a poster the Friday before their scheduled week (see back for dates). Please help your student create their special poster. Photographs, stickers, and cut outs can be attached or color pictures can be hand drawn. Students should bring their poster to school the following Monday (or Tuesday when Monday is a holiday).
Students may also bring two small school appropriate items to share with the class (Tuesday, Wednesday) in addition to their poster. If there is a special creature or person your student would like to share or a favorite treat they want the class to taste please contact me ahead of time so we can schedule a specific time for sharing.
For Thursday, I would like your student to think of a special skill, talent, or interest they could share with the class in a teaching capacity. For example, your wizard could demonstrate how to shoot a lay-up, teach us to count in another language, play an instrument, share science experiment findings, or bring in a craft project and tell us how to make it. The ideas are endless!
