Special Event Boarding Contract

Please copy for each club member – all signatures for all boarders must be included!

This agreement serves as a contract between Wilson College and the Boarder______who shall board one horse named ______.

  1. Basic Boarding Fee: The Club will be billed for all camp expenses.
  2. Services: Wilson College shall provide a stall, two wheelbarrows of sawdust, stall cleaning tools, and a secure tack room. The Boarder shall provide all labor, grain, water buckets, and all equipment for the horse.
  3. Turn Out: Not available. Hand grazing in the areas around the barns is acceptable.
  4. Health Requirements: Each boarder must submit a completed Vaccination Record Card. This form must be submitted with the Boarding Contract to the Stable Manager at least 48 hours prior to arrival at Wilson College. (Forms may be submitted at the same time by the club president). All requirements must be met within the stated time periods, or boarding privileges will be denied.
  5. Duration of Contract: The term of this contract shall run from ______to ______.
  6. Contract termination: Contract is void after dated in item #5. Persons not complying with stated policies will be asked to leave upon second warning.
  7. Stable Rules:
  8. No dogs allowed.
  9. No one may ride on main campus. (Do not cross the bridges.)
  10. No one may be in the barns from 11:00 pm until 6:00 am, except by special permission of the stable manager.
  11. Stalls must be cleaned and stripped at the end of the contract.
  12. No alcohol is permitted in the Equestrian Center.
  13. All chemicals, sharps, and hazardous materials must be placed in EPA containers located in the barns.
  14. NO smoking in or near the barns.
  15. Boarded horses may not come into contact with Wilson College horses.
  16. Jumps and other Wilson-owned materials are not to be moved/used without reservations by club president and permission of the Stable Manger.
  17. Release: Wilson College will not be responsible for any loss or damage to any person, animal, or property. Each boarder shall assume all liability and hold harmless Wilson College for any loss, damage, or injury to any person, animal, or property that may be caused by any horse or pony boarded by them or due to the carelessness or negligence of the person in charge of such horse or pony, or any of their subordinates or superiors.
