2d Marine Special Operations Battalion

  • Managed a property book worth over $78 million and advised the Managing Director on successful allocation of these resources in support of operational requirements.
  • Lead a detachment of over 200 service members in the sustainment of 26 operating bases spread across a hostile, dynamic, and rapidly changing area of operations the size of Texas.
  • Assisted in the construction and follow on sustainment of six forward operating bases by integrating all available modes of distribution to include aerial delivery, ground transportation, and rotary wing support.

Marine Corps Recruiting Station, Fort Lauderdale, FL

Maintained operational oversight for over 20 recruiting substations spread throughout South Florida, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands; developed plans to accomplish assigned quotas; and provided training to the leadership of the substations & to individual recruiters.

  • Managed the enlistment and subsequent attendance to USMC boot camp of more than 1500 future Marines – ensuring placement in the top five recruiting stations in the country each year.
