!!The PINK Invasion!!
!!!Franconia Fall Flocking is Here!!!
Most birds fly south in the fall – pink flamingoes fly to Franconia! The Franconia Youth Group has become the proud owner of pink flamingoes and would love to share some of their fine feathered friends with you and your friends! Here’s how it works:
1. Fill out a form providing the name and physical address of the friend you would like to be flocked – attach a check for the amount of the flock requested and put it either in the box in the narthex or the box in Cokesbury. If you have any special instructions, such as a specific date, please let us know so we can be sure the recipient enjoys the complete experience!
2. We will flock your friend quietly “under cover of darkness” so that the flock is there to welcome in the new day.
3. The flock will be removed “under cover of darkness” the night after being placed so that another home might become the temporary roost of our pink joy!
4. If you absolutely do not want to be flocked, you can buy flocking insurance for $15 and you will be safe…for this year.
We hope you will participate in this opportunity to put the FUN in FUNdraiser! All proceeds will be applied to the 2015 FUMC Youth Ministry Mission Trip.
