Change of Date
INSET Day: There will now be two INSET Days at the beginning of the academic year in September. These will be
- Friday 1st September
- Monday 4th September replaces the INSET day on 16th April 2018
So children will return to school on Tuesday 5th September.
Sport’s Day – 16th June, 2pm on the Field
All the children will need to have their PE kits in school for this day and we are asking all children to ensure they have their water bottles and sun hats in school. Please ensure you apply sun cream at the beginning of the school day. The children will be divided into mixed aged teams for all events. May I politely remind everyone to park sensibly and not block driveways or park on green spaces. Please note we are a no smoking school and smoking is not permitted on any part of the school grounds. We also would like to advise parents not to bring dogs onto the school grounds. Guide dogs are permitted. We all look forward to seeing you all.
Craft Week – 26th June.
The children have now all signed up to take part in a class across the week. They have either chosen photography, Tutu making/building a garden for fairies, wall hanging class and pom-pom making, junk modeling, embroidery, dream catcher class or decorating chairs in the school grounds. All the children will have the opportunity to paint a rock which will then be used to create a river of wishes in the school grounds.
Open Afternoon – 13th July, 2pm
This is an informal session where you can visit your children in their classrooms to look at their work and talk to the class teacher about your child’s annual report. If you require a private parent consultation with the teacher these may be booked via the school office.
Last Day of Term
The children are welcome to bring in a table top game to play in the morning.
