BRAUNTON TENNIS CLUB APPLICATION FOR MINI MEMBERSHIP 2016-2017.

Mini membership allows for supervised use of the courts by children in school years 1-6, including the summer holiday in 2016 leading up to their entry into year 7. Mini membership is only available where a parent or guardian signs below to guarantee that the Club rules will be observed. Mini membership is valid until 31st March 2017 unless a child enters year 7 in September 2016 when they should then apply for Junior membership in their own right.

I/we apply for Mini membership of Braunton Tennis Club on behalf of the child(ren) listed above and understand that play on the tennis courts is entirely at our own risk and we agree to abide by club rules. In addition it is a condition of Mini membership that parents/guardians and Mini members abide by the following extra rules. Failure to do so will result in immediate termination of the Mini membership without refund.

* Mini members will at all times be accompanied and supervised by the parent(s)/guardian(s) signing this form

* Mini members will only use courts 1 & 2 and accommodate other Mini members wishing to play there.

* court access for Mini members is provisionally restricted to the hours of 1000-1600 on weekdays and 1300-1800 on Sundaysduring the Braunton Academy holidays ( but play may be possible at other times when the courts are not in use by the Academy or Club members or for coaching or matches).

* Mini members willplay withtheir own tennis balls and racquets, and not those belonging to the Club

* Mini members and adultsmust wear suitable shoes on the courts and not damage the surfaces with hard soles.

* Mini members must not be told the code which opens the gates and this code must not be divulged to anyone outside the club.

* Mini members may not bring non-member friends onto the courts

* Mini members and non-member parents will have no access to the Club storage container

* Mini members may use the toilet facility rented by the Club at the Athletics building but must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

* no bicycles, skateboards, chairs etc can be brought onto the courts at any time

* parents/guardians, members or not, must not play tennis with other adults whilst supervising Mini members
