· Name the parts of a transportation system / Students will start cutting their final designs out as patterns and applying them to their wood blanks. They will use these patterns to cut out the dragster, and then begin refining the shape using sand paper. Over the next few days, students will cut out, refine and test their dragsters. / Q & A

Students will put their cars through 3 different performance tests. These include aerodynamics in the wind tunnel, rolling friction and weight. Students will test and look for ways to refine their designs and an attempt to improve aerodynamic drag and rolling friction. / Q & A
