Myth Writing

You need to write your own mythological story. You must have an obvious purpose to your myth. (We discussed five different purposes myths serve.) Your myth must include human characters and gods/goddesses who interact with one another. This myth should be one to two pages in length (no more than two). The gods/goddesses need to be accurate. For example, Zeus is the king of the gods; Poseidon is the god of the sea, etc.

Final draft of myth needs to be typed, double-spaced in a 12-point font. Submit final draft to turnitin.com.

You will be graded on ideas (lots of specific details), organization, and conventions. Remember conventions are spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
