This is going to all of Troop 243 and is the troop’s Weekly email for 12-11-17. All troop resources, including our calendar, are always available at our web site, something critical comes up, there will be no weekly email the week of December 25th. 1) Christmas Lock-In; 2) Stop the Bleed Program This Wednesday; 3)Klondike Derby;4) Early/Sheehy/Craven Eagle Court of Honor;
1)The Christmas Lock-in is this Friday night! Doors lock at 6:00 and all attendees must be gone by 8:00 Saturday morning. Please be considerate of the leaders who make this possible and don’t ask to leave your scout there for an extended time. Medical forms required for a camp out will be required for this camp out and a required permission slip is attached here and posted to the troop web site. Please bring a snack to share with scouts, and remember that we have some scouts with allergies so please note what is in any homemade items. Also, please bring any games you would like to play.
2) Mr. Early will be teaching the "stop the bleed" program this Wednesday. Please note that the video used during the training does contain some graphic images. We wanted to make parents aware of the program and give people the opportunity to ask questions. It is important to know that this is a national program that is hoped to see in many community/school systems. You can get more information at
3) The Klondike Derby is coming up the weekend of January 6th. All the usual forms are required. A permission slip will be attached to the Monday email before the trip and be on the web site that week.
