DNOW Rules
1. Respect God, Others and Yourself – The purpose of our weekend is to honor God, to grow in our knowledge of Him and His words, to become more unified, and to do so with a little fun. Therefore, students are expected to participate in all of the activities with a good attitude. Cell Phones and tablets are allowed during the weekend, but not during small group lessons, worship or the service project out of respect for your Small Group leader, those around you and yourself.
2. No Driving – If you drove yourself to the event then your car will remain parked in the First Baptist Church Parking Lot until Sunday following worship. All students will ride with their host family and assigned drivers for their group.
3. No Leaving – Students will not be allowed to leave the weekend event or activities unless a parent has previously given permission for a special need or prior commitment, or if the student becomes ill. You’re not going to want to leave because you’ll miss out on all of the fun.
4. No Pranks – As fun as pranks can be we ask that all students refrain from planning or executing any pranks as they tend to get out of hand quickly and in many cases tend to hurt feelings. This weekend is about building each other up and loving one another.
5. Respect Your Host Homes – Our host home families are more than gracious for letting us stay in their home for the entire weekend. Students are asked to treat their home and anything in the home with respect, to be careful and to act appropriately. Students who are responsible for the damage or theft of any item from a host home will be held fully responsible for repairing or replacing the item.
If everyone abides by these rules the weekend should be an absolute blast and a success to us growing together as ONE UNIFIED Body of Christ.
