III Dr. Randle’s Updates:

Dr. Randle has given the PTO Board a wish list to possibly buy a new ice maker for the teacher’s lounge.

IV M. Moore: Bookstore

The polo shirts have been ordered. The Friday/fieldtrip shirts will have the word Red will be a solid color and the shirt itself will be ash gray, and on the sleeve we will have a shield design with no bee. The sweatshirts will be reviewed on tomorrow.

V K. Grundy: Product Fundraising

Kelli will start the ordering process for the chocolate sales on Wednesday, July 10th. She will be ordering 400 variety boxes and 160 almonds only. The flyer for the kickoff date of September 4th will be sent home in the Tuesday folders.

VI S. Bromley: Carnival

Sarah is in the process of trying to locate a sandwich sponsor for the carnival. She will get with Mrs. Maxie’s uncle to discuss getting with Aramark for the carnival. She will also try reaching out to a non PTO member for sponsorships well. So far she has Amy Dionne working on a design and ticket sales, Michelle Zelaya helping with membership, Jeanette Towster will work on the silent auction, Tanya Gardner will be in charge of the balloon pop, and Michelle Moore and Sarita King will be helping with the food booths. The donations are in the mail and we still need donations for the balloon pop. We don’t know if we will have the horse ride as of yet, due to the fact that the horses were in an accident and are undergoing therapy at this time. We have Julie Rush on hand for photography at the carnival.

VII A. Dionne: Membership

I have received a handout from Barry. Amy is thinking about putting together a welcome package so that when parents join they will have handouts. Thinking about putting free video vouchers or maybe family tickets to the museum, she would also like to put some hand out s in the teacher’s lounge to say how much money their class has raised.

VIII K. Cooper: Publicity

Kim will get the publicity updates/dates for email blasts.

IX D. Chance: Treasurer

The balance that is in the account is $35, 000.

X J. Towster: Yearbook

We are looking at of having a soft cover yearbook, which includes 68 pages, 1 sticker sheet and zoom priced at $20 per book. There is an additional $4.50 charge for hardcover.

XI Updates:

Tanya talked with Anastashia to make a decision on moving forward or possibly look into finding a new CPA to handle the finances for afterschool care. Tanya will also talk with Mrs. Grade about the CPA that she uses to discuss what it would cost the school if we decide to hire him. Tanya will let the board members know the outcome of the meeting/conversation.

XII T. Gardner: Teacher’s Appreciation Breakfast
