New Triumph Flagship Store Opens in Leicester

Triumph Motorcycles is proud to announce the opening of a brand new dealership in Leicester this May.

Designed to the latest ‘Triumph World’ retail standards the store will display the full range of Triumph motorcycles, clothing and accessories, making Stratstone Triumph Leicester a key addition to Triumph’s UK dealer network.

Customers are invited to the grand opening of Stratstone Triumph Leicester, which will take place on the evening of Thursday 13th May, from 6.00pm. The evening will be packed full of activities including the official opening of the store by Digby, Lord Jones of Birmingham and Triumph’s chairman, a Q & A with key Triumph factory staff and an appearance by riders from the MAP Centurion Triumph Race Team.

Music and refreshments will be available throughout the evening and there will some great prizes on offer, including Triumph apparel and VIP tickets to a round of the MCE British Superbike Championship.

The development of Triumph’s dealer network is a reflection of the brand’s continued growth. Despite the recession Triumph delivered record UK sales in 2009. The iconic brand increased domestic sales by 26%, overtaking Kawasaki to be the fourth largest big bike brand in the UK. This trend of market share growth has been mirrored around the world, maintaining the marque’s position as the world’s fastest growing motorcycle brand.

Stratstone Triumph Leicester is the second Triumph dealership to be opened by Pendragon, the largest the largest independent operator of franchised motor car dealerships in the UK. Stratstone, Pendragon’s luxury brand, has 118 dealerships including seven motorcycle stores and Triumph Leicester is an exciting addition to their motorcycle portfolio.

As well as a packed programme of on and off track activity, visitors will be able to visit Triumph’s nearby state-of-the-art factory in Hinckley, Leicester. Triumph LIVE will party late into the night, with a raft of live music acts headlined by an infamous punk rock band.
