Through discussion, review and practice, attendees will become thoroughly familiar with the body of knowledge for the CQA exam. Class discussions include an in-depth overview of the exam process, along with the rationales for correct answers. Sample test questions and answers offer participants a better understanding of the basic principles and applications that will appear on the examination.
Who Should Attend / Experienced auditors and anyone who is planning to take ASQ’s Certified Quality Auditor examination will benefit from this program. Financial Auditors, auditors of safety programs, and others would also benefit from this program.

Primer and Solution Text are optional and may be ordered by student from Quality Council of Indiana ( These documents include sample questions (primer) and answers with explanations (solution text).

Instructor / MaryChrisEasterly-Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) since 1998 and Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence since 2000. Senior Quality Assurance Technical Specialist at Diosynth Biotechnology (a part of Merck). Responsibilities over 22 years include managing and executing internal audit and supplier quality programs, and coordination of audit teams for corporate audits, client audits and regulatory inspections.
B.S., Industrial Engineering and Operations Research, VirginiaTech. M.S., Quality Assurance, CaliforniaStateUniversity at Dominguez Hills. Senior member of ASQ, Secretary and Chair-Elect of the Raleigh section.
Recertification Units / 1.6 RUs: Students must attend at least 80% of the classes (13 hours) for RU credit. No Exceptions!
