The Fulbright Specialist Program is one part of the overall Fulbright Program, which also includes the Fulbright Student and Fulbright Scholar Programs. The Fulbright Specialist Program, a component of the Fulbright Scholar Program, offers opportunities for U.S. academics and professionals (such as attorneys, business professionals, artists, and journalists) whose qualifications and experience are at the faculty or full professional level, to build capacity and promote linkages between their home and overseas host institutions by engaging in short-term, collaborative projects.

Digital Projects for the Public grants support projects that significantly contribute to the public’s engagement with the humanities. Digital platforms—such as websites, mobile applications and tours, interactive touch screens and kiosks, games, and virtual environments—can reach diverse audiences and bring the humanities to life for the American people.
