1.In reply to your email[1] authority is given for the RAF Small ArmsAssociation to participate in the fixtures listed at Annex A for the 2015 season. This letter, together with Reference A, provides the duty status for the authorised number of participants for your sport outlined in Reference B. Please be aware that any Combined Service fixtures and meetings must be authorised by the CSSB. Cost of travel is authorised under the terms of Reference C and you are reminded that final approval for travel funding rests with the Stn Cdr and that overall cost must remain with individual’s Unit T&S budget; therefore, early notification of events/fixtures to Unit PEdO’s is essential.

2.Expenses. Cost of travel is admissible within the United Kingdom for those personnel selected in accordance with Reference C. The reference and date of this letter are to be quoted on all warrants and claims, together with your Station/Unit UIN.

3.Travel across International Borders. Travel across International borders to play sport is only authorised under the terms of JSP 752 for teams taking part in HQ Aircom competitions RAF Winter Sports Competitions and RAF Inter-Station Competitions.

You are reminded that subsistence allowance is inadmissible[2], and that only representative teams that play an authorised Inter Service fixture are eligible for ONE training session per year; although training activity may be directly attributed with a fixture, event or Championships.
