Microsoft Word
/ Word is a popular program used primarily for creating documents such as:
- letters
- learning activities
- tests and quizzes
- student’s homework
There are many simple but useful features available in Microsoft Word to make it easier for study and work / Practice in Microsoft Word.
Create a document using shapes. / In Microsoft Word we can find the shapes on the toolbar in the following way:
Click in insertShapes

And select the shape that you want to add to the document.
Copy and paste images in the document / Exist 2 different ways of how can we copy-paste images in Word:
Option # 1
1-Click on the right mouse (PC) of the images below until a dialog box appears.
2-Click in copy image
3-Paste de image in Word
Option # 2
save the image in your computer and insert the picture in the following way

ADD A TABLE IN MICROSOFT WORD / If we want to add a new table we have to click in insert, then we are going to look for the option table

Select the number of columns and rows that you want.
Add a text in the shapes / To insert a text in the shapes we have to select the shape and right click on it then Add text

Change the color of the shape / To change the color of the shape, we have to double click on the shape and in format we modify the shape style.

Position of animage / To change the position of an image or to move the image in the way that we want you have click on the image then right click on it and select the option WRAP TEXT > SQUARE

And in that way you are going to be able to move the image in the way that you want.
Insert a Border around the page / To insert a border around the text select:
Page layout > Page borders

And you are goint to have the following window:

Select the option that says BOX and change the style of it.
Change the font and position of the text / To change the font and position of the text, select the text you want to edit, and in home you will find a lot of options in font and paragraph.

Bold, Underline, and Italic
You can bold, underline, or italicize when you are using Word.
STEPS: First highlight the text you wish to format and then click the appropriate formatting button on the format toolbar.

  • - Underline
Changing Font Color
Word also provides a button on the Formatting toolbar that lets you change text color in a document using the mouse. This feature lets you select specific text in a document and change the font color. To use this feature:
•Select the text you want to change the color of.
•Click the Font color option on the Font group.
•Select the desired color by clicking on the arrow on the right hand side.
