We are grateful for the support throughout the year from Councillors M Dickie and P Diggle and Dumfries & Galloway Council (Ross Gemmell, & Richard Masters). Thanks for Funding from Dumfries & Galloway Council, George Hunter Trust, Magnox North and SNH.

Members can be satisfied with the progress made in 2012 and look forward to maintaining this in 2013. This can only happen however if we can persuade more people to help with the above work. This is a voluntary organisation and we must be careful not to over-stretch our human and financial resources.

As I complete my third year as Chairman, I would like to thank all the Committee for their support during that time. I'm particularly indebted to my Vice-Chairman, David Mair, for his considerable help and advice in all our activities, to Sandy Grant for his help re projects and finance and to Paul & Isabelle Gow for covering the secretarial duties so efficiently.
