AGENDA ITEM FOR FEBRUARY (VOS ONBOARDING/PROMOTION PHASE)

1. Review Promotion and Successful Launch Efforts for Voice of the Scout.

Suggestions on fulfilling this agenda item:

  • Get oriented to VOS with the General Overview PowerPoint deck.*
  • Help promote Voice of the Scout to units using flyers, posters and web banners.*
  • OPTIMIZE EMAIL COLLECTION & UPDATES. Determine current email in ScoutNET, download the Email Saturation Report Tool (an MS Access program).* Print and review to ensure all commissioners have updated emails.

Note: Email saturation is the foundation of the bronze JTE scorecard recognition level.

AGENDA ITEM FOR MARCH (VOS LISTENING PHASE)

1. Kick-Off for a successful Launch of Voice of the Scout.

Suggestions on fulfilling this agenda item:

  • Continue promotions and prepare for launch.
  • Review effectiveness of promotional assistance and email collection efforts. Fine-tune the

focus and continue efforts.

AGENDA ITEM FOR APRIL (VOS LISTENING PHASE)

1. Review VOS dashboard, print and distribute samples of council reports for familiarization.

Suggestions on fulfilling this agenda item:

  • Council VOS dashboard – print and distribute council-level reports
  • Begin to determine opportunities for district-level involvement and solution contributions

by noticing trends in each of the VOS member groupings (detractors, passively satisfied

and promoters)

AGENDA ITEM FOR MAY (VOS LEARNING PHASE)

1. Identify easy to implement solutions that will address trends in the member feedback.

Suggestions on fulfilling this agenda item:

  • Review and address key issues that spur the Experience Recovery process.
  • Shine a bright light on feedback of promoters that suggests a needed best practice throughout the district.
  • Prioritize trends and solutions as they might best impact experiences of detractor members.
  • Begin calling units to schedule Unit Self Assessment and Action Planning Meeting in June
  • Attend webinar training to understand commissioner role of interpreting VOS results to unit Key 3

AGENDA ITEM FOR JUNE (VOS ACTING PHASE)

1. Implement quick win solutions for the Fall.

Suggestions on fulfilling this agenda item:

  • Attend Unit Self Assessment and Action Planning Meeting in June to help unit Key 3

interpreting VOS results

  • Coach unit key 3 to commit to 1- 2 program/calendar based on the learnings of VOS that can be accomplished with existing resources that will likely make the biggest positive impact on the experiences of detractor groups.
