Required Materials – Critical Reading and Study Skills
Please bring the following materials to class every day…
[ ] Binder with subject dividers. It is recommended that you get a very basic binder with sturdy metal rings. Put your subjects in the order in which you have them (see your schedule)
[ ] Folder with pockets that can be clipped into your binder and used to store homework sheets for all your classes
[ ] Plastic sheet protectors (25 or more) – keep only 10 in your binder and the rest at home.
[ ] Lined paper (3-hole-punched) with red margin line – keep 10-15 sheets in each of your subject areas.
[ ] Pencils (at least two already sharpened) or mechanical pencil with extra lead.
[ ] Pen (written work in only blue or black ink will be accepted unless permission is given to use other colors).
[ ] Pencil pouch that clips into your binder (Don’t “overstuff” it!)
[ ] Ruler (12-inch wooden or plastic ruler that clips into your binder is recommended)
[ ] Highlighter
[ ] Folder with metal fasteners – with pockets (get 3)
[ ] Sandy Run assignment book -- A small notepad or Post-its ® pad is also recommended.
[ ] Memory stick (flash drive) – inexpensive! (Do not need to get a lot of memory. Make sure to label it with your name!)
