What does "Waiting for Organizer" mean?

If you are trying to join a session and see a screen that says "Waiting for organizer", then you have successfully connected to the session!

The organizer is the individual who is hosting the session (i.e., they scheduled it and invited you to it), so if you joined the session before they did then you can just sit tight until they get there. We call this the "Hallway", because you have arrived to the session but are still waiting for the organizer to "open the door" so you can come in.

If you are an attendee who was invited to the session, then you don't need to take any further action – just stay connected and you will see the session start once the organizer launches it. While you are waiting, you can select your audio devices and test out your audio to make sure everything is configured the way you want it.

Please keep in mind that your organizer might be in a different timezone that you are – be sure to check the date, time and timezone in your invitation to make sure you aren't joining too early or too late. Please contact the organizer who invited you if you are unsure about the date or time.

Why can’t anyone hear me?

All Phone lines are muted during the webinar. If you have a question, you can use the question box to type it there.

I did not receive a confirmation email.

Once registered through GoToWebinar a confirmation email is immediately sent to the attendee. Please check your junk folder and clutter folders. If you still have not received this email please contact your IT department to ensure emails from Citrix are allowed. If not you may need to provide a personal email address to connect to the webinars.
