o Community events / ·The news stories cover the events from the beginning to the end of the play.
·Information stays within the historical context of the play.
·Every piece included connects to the play or the time period. Students can explain connections.
·At least one quote have been used from the play on each page
·There is a minimum of the following:
o News- 5
o Editorials- 2
o Sports- 2
o Weather- 2
o Classified Ads- 1
o Obituaries- All deaths in play
o Entertainment- 1
o Community Events- 1 / In addition to meeting the PROFICIENT criteria…

· Each piece’s connection to the play or time period is self-explanatory OR is presented without prompting
· Article amounts exceed the minimums.
· There are extra submissions in addition to the required minimum.
